Rhett is a billionaire who owns hundreds of patents and started his own MLB team. He used to live in obscurity but now his team has won the world series he is a major catch. He is a dom who never acts without permission due to past family history. His friends talk him into starring in a new reality show which features him getting to know 9 women . The woman he picks will earn lots of money and go on a two week vacation with him. He won't promise love since he doesn't believe in love or soulmates.
Emery is from a small mining town in West Virginia. She was best friends with a gay pro-football player and pretended to be his girlfriend. When her friend is shot at a gay bar, her life falls apart. She can't earn enough money to live in NYC and is returning home. Problem is her dad is a hoarder and his house is disgusting. Then she gets a call to work on the set of a new reality show which she accepts.
When Emery and Rhett meet, sparks fly. Emery is not the typical girl Rhett is interested in but he can't get her out of his mind. She is an innocent so he feels guilty for all the dirty things he wants to do to her. Then it is the first official day of shooting, one of the girl contestants drops out leaving an opening that they only have time to use a staff member to fill. Rhett suggests Emery and so she is now a contestant. As the contest goes on, Rhett and Emery get closer and share painful things in their lives. Will Rhett change his mind about love?
This is a great book and makes me want to go back and read more of the series. The characters are rich and have real human emotions. The passion is super hot. I love Nana!

Chaos and Chemistry!

Rhett is the owner of the World Series Champions Beasts baseball team when he is convinced to be the “Bachelor” on The Biggest Catch, a reality dating show. He has a few concerns as he has secrets and wants to keep his personal life private especially since they are taping the show at one of his homes.
When Emery’s mother passed away her father was unable to deal which resulted in her being bullied as a child and now her best friend Ryan has passed away and his secret life revealed leaving her homeless. Being hired as an assistant for the dating show couldn’t come at a better time.
Their first meeting is at his gym and he is drawn to her in a way he hasn’t felt before. When one of the contestants drops out he convinces the producers that Emery should take her place. Is there any way for Rhett and Emery to get their HEA when chaos erupts from a group of gold digging, back stabbing women who will do whatever is necessary to get their man?
There is a great combination of humor, drama and chemistry. I loved all the characters but Nana Steele stole the show. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

One heck of a read - 5++ stars
This was a love story like no other that is out there at this time. With the painful past that Rhett has dealt with, that causes him to NOT believe in love and forever with anyone to the secrets that Emery has kept, this book will bring you to a place that makes you want to reach in and give them both huge hugs and make everything better for them. The emotional rollercoaster Ms. Ward takes us on is spellbinding and shows us all a great lesson in human behavior. Nana really sealed the deal, causing me to reflect on my mother and the things I miss about having her around. I definitely want to go back and read the rest of the books in this series. Excellent storytelling! I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a copy of it as well, just so I could have all five stories!
